Kvorning Design & Communication designed a temporary exhibition presenting Danfoss’ thermostats in the childhood home of founder Mads Clausen, which is part of the amusement park Danfoss Universe located on the island Als, Denmark.
The first phase of the temporary exhibition is part of a larger, permanent exhibition about Danfoss’ most important products and its remarkable industrial heritage. The exhibition showcases everything from the first innovations to modern digital thermostats. Included here is also an artistic movie depicting the production created by Kvorning and HomeRun as well as the multidimensional puzzle designed by Kvorning, where visitors can assemble a thermostat, test his or her skills and learn how a thermostat works.
Kvorning Design & Communication delivered a digital experience path, the exhibition, graphic design, hands-on as well as interactive media. A gigantic replica of Danfoss best-selling thermostat was custom-built for the occasion. The temporary exhibition is mobile and built like a room inside another room. It opened to the public in July 2011.
