Along with three other international exhibition designers Kvorning Design & Communication were invited to draw up a proposal for a new football museum at the Russian club FC ZENIT’s home arena in Saint Petersburg.
The proposal unites two central functions – a large, permanent football museum on the first floor and a Nike brand store on the ground floor. The football museum will present the club’s numerous national and international championships as well as individual players and their accomplishments, trophies and so on.
The museum will also feature a large digital football field, but in a compact version. Here visitors can challenge the famous FC ZENIT-players in a virtual game. The visit will end in the gigantic NIKE-store. Moreover, the front of the museum will have digital features such as a gigantic LED-screen, which can be used for open-air shows both in daylight and after dark.
