PROJECT: EXHIBITION CONCEPT – WINGS OF VICTORY
LOCATION: VERKHNYAYA PYSHMA, YEKATERINBURG, RUSSIA
Revealing a sneak peek of the pre-launch of the first phase of Wings of Victory at the UMMC Military Museum, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Yekaterinburg, Russia. Sharing the history of the Russian and Soviet aviation in the first half of the 20th century with emphasis on individual planes used by Soviet pilots during World War II.
Experience Bell P-39 Aircobra, A-20 Boston and B-25 Mitchell models, supplied to the Soviet aviation under the Lend-Lease program. More than 30 aircrafts in total! Complete exhibition concept created by Kvorning Design and realised by the UMMC Military Museum. The next stages of developing the 12,000 sq m permanent
exhibition will add immersive scenography, AV and theatrical lighting design. Planned to expand the main stages of the storytelling of the development of the domestic military aircraft industry of that time and highlight the role of the image of aviation in the Soviet modernization project during the interwar period.
